This morning we are learning about length. We are making meaning by comparing objects. Which is longer? Which is shorter? How do we know?

The Break Through Exhibition

In the car I was really exited for the break through exhibition. When I got to the school I went to hub two. In hub two I showed my Aunty my sewing. Then we went to the bridge. We went over the bridge to the snakes and ladders with Ella. When I went home I saw my big sister.

Planting Cabbage

On Tuesday morning at school we learnt how to grow cabbage. First we had to get gloves. Then when undid the ropes. When the ropes were undone we started to pull the weeds out and we had to put the weeds in the rubbish bag. Then it was time for the fun part. We put the new soil in. Then we put the cabbage in. The End.

Planting Cabbage

Today we learnt how to plant a cabbage.

1. Pull out the weeds.
2. Put in new soil
3. You need to dig holes.
4. Get the plant out. You need to squish the bottom.
5. Take a buddy to hold the plant very safely.
6. Then you need to cover it up with soil.

Today is the day!

Today is an exciting day in our hub. We are using our iPads for the very first time this year. We are learning how to use our iPads to take photos. We know that we will be taking lots of photos this year to show evidence of our learning. When we take a photo, we need to think about how we are holding the iPad to make sure we get a photo that is nice and clear.
